Human remains suspected to be that of missing Canadian Realtor

murder arrest Human remains suspected to be that of missing Canadian Realtor

Human remains were found in a home in a Markham, Ontario home and are suspected to be the remains of missing HomeLife Landmark Realty Inc. agent Jiangou “Tony” Hahn.

In January, Peel Regional Police visited one of Han’s listings, a $2.4 million luxury home, in an attempt to locate the Realtor and Xiu Jun “Johnny” Fei, who accompanied Han, both reported missing.

The two were believed to be together in a black four door Mercedes Benz which was found later in Toronto. Fei was located a week after the two disappeared but investigators did not know the whereabouts of Han until a lead sent them to Markham where remains were discovered yesterday.

Senthuran Sabeson has been arrested in Kitchener near Waterloo in Ontario, Canada today after police charged him with first degree murder of Han. This wasn’t the first time Sabeson had been arrested in connection with the case, as the 23 year old was arrested in January, charged with two counts of kidnapping and intent to hold for ransom, YorkRegion.com reports. He was subsequently released.

This mysterious case has seen several arrests ranging from the 21 year old from Toronto, Hinthurjin Baskaran who was charged with two counts of kidnapping with the intent to hold for ransom, and two others who police have not publicly identified but share the same charges as Baskaran. No arrest has been made yet on the warrant issued for 43 year old Guo Wei Wu who is allegedly a drifter. His charges include the intent to hold for ransom and assault causing bodily harm, with Sabeson the only person involved named as a murder suspect.

With so many people having been arrested in connection with this Canadian case and remains that police are indicating yet not confirming are Han’s, it appears the agent who was well known in his community was originally held for ransom and the situation went horribly wrong somewhere along the line.
